In the past few years, I have achieved extra-ordinary results that are stunning and even faster than I thought, by simply setting SMART goals। I believe that there is something unique about goal setting in the sense that you can live the life of your dreams by simply setting SMART goals। You can have a better relationship, enjoy your present lifestyle, make more money, and have more friends once you can put pen to paper and come up with goals that will take you to the next level। A goal is simply a target. It is what you are determined to achieve over a period of time. And once you write down your goal, then you need to place it where you can see it daily, preferably in your living room. Once you do that, you will suddenly become aware of the opportunities around you that will aid you in achieving your dreams through the Reticular Activating system. The mammalian cerebral cortex and thalamus are interconnected by an exhaustive array of excitory projections that support self-sustaining reverberation associated with the sensory, cognitive, emotive, and motor domains.......The chaotic dynamic of the corticothalamic reverberation, as guided by the striatal complex, constitutes a default mode of goal pursuit that emerges in the absence of focused and directed goal pursuit. http://www.mega.nu/wavetrain.html) The truth is that in life, we get two things; What we think about all the time, and what we focus on, and your goals helps you to achieve that। Setting goals makes you more aware that you are the architect of your life, in the sense that you say this is what I want, and then you go for it. And at the end of the, you will realize that achieving your goals provides you with confidence, and that will spur you set more goals. That is how it works. To accelerate your success in the next one month, write down four new Positive habits. I will suggest that number one on your list should be to read for only one hour everyday for the next one month. And that is very easy. Just read 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night. Alternatively, cut-down on the hours you spend with friends gossiping. Or for the busy executives, read during your office time out or break. You can even decide to wake up 30 minutes earlier and 30 minutes later, just to meet up with the goal of reading for just one hour for the next one month. By every way possible, decide to form the habit of reading. It has been proved that reading for just one hour daily can place you among the best in your field easily. Success is just about making better decisions on a daily basis. It is about your commitment to your personal development which is your responsibility. To live a better life, four simple positive habits will go a long way. And make sure the habits are anchored or repeated for 21 days, because whatever you do consecutively for 21 days becomes a habit. Next, write down just four negative habit that you will break free from. And I will suggest that number one on your list should be to conquer your fears. What is your worst fear? What if you determine to do just one thing, no matter how little that you fear for the next 21 days? You will experience dynamic turnaround in your life if you do this. Put another way, you do not have to stop your fears, but you need to change what you fear. And the only thing you have to fear onward is fear itself. I tell you why: When you begin to fear something, maybe you fear water, or fire, or your boss, or ill health, or death, etc. before you know it, the fear begins to spread into other aspect of your life. So when you fear, it becomes very easy to fear many things. However, by doing one thing that you fear as you are reading this article, you will be motivated to do other things that you fear because you will realize all of a sudden that most of the things that you fear, do not really exist. Most of our fears are shadows of our doubts. So fear do not always exist, but we often doubt because we fear failure. But all the successful people that I know have a failure at one point or the other in their life. So it is okay to fail, if only you will pick yourself up. I started this year with the thinking that it is always better to try and fail, than to fail to try. So fear fear.
